Game

‘Retro’ made me want to do something old school so I picked a fixed gun shooter. But I couldn’t decide on what era of graphics to make. So I decided to work that into the game.

When your ship gets hit, the entire game’s graphics switch eras. This proved to be WAY more time consuming than I thought. Unsruprisingly, I didn’t have time to add those little details like, a score, or death, or a way to win.

So this is really more of a toy than a game. Play as long as you want. Collect powerups and go nuts. While I try to pretend that the infinite loop was an intentional play on ‘Retro’ haha

This is my second game jam, and for sure the most valueable lesson I learned was ‘Keep it Small’
